Can you be in the army reserve and collect unemployment?
My roommate was in the armory division of the army in iraq. He missed his last tour due to an injury. But he is in the army reserve and collects money for being active in the army reserver. But he also collects unemployment from the army somehow. Is this legitimate?
The one check is coming from veteran affairs and the other is an actual unemployment check. This just doesn’t seem right to me though. He doesn’t get disability checks because they would be through social security. I just don’t understand why he is getting 2 check cut to him, when he can’t even explain it himself.
